Ask a Pol asks:

Any update on the Secrets Task Force's effort to publicly release these 40+ classified videos?

Key Burlison:

“I have heard from people within the intelligence community that they are collecting these. They’re gathering the videos for a presentation to us,” Rep. Eric Burlison exclusively tells Ask a Pol UAP. “That means they’re taking it seriously.”

But possibly not publicly released?

“Right,” Burlison says.

Caught our ear, per “missing” scientists:

Do you think the focus needs to go to these “missing” scientists? It’s getting a lot of attention.

“To me, there’s enough bandwidth to focus on both,” Burlison tells us. “The missing scientists, I think there’s clearly an overlap, there’s a connection. But in and of itself it’s worth the investigation even if it has nothing to do with UAP.”

Burlison’s staying skeptical:

“I’m totally dubious. I don’t trust this town at all,” Burlison says. “But it still doesn’t mean you don’t try.”

Rep. Eric Burlison: “I have heard from people within the intelligence community that they are collecting these. They’re gathering the videos for a presentation to us.”

Laslo: “For a presentation to you, but possibly not…?”

Burlison: “That means they’re taking it seriously.”

Laslo: “But possibly not publicly released?”

Burlison: “Right. And keep in mind, I sent a joint letter about a month before [Secrets Task Force Chair Anna Paulina] Luna made it public.”

Laslo: “Yeah?”

Burlison: “So they’ve been working on it since that time.”

Laslo: “Where do you — do you think the focus needs to go to these missing scientists? It’s getting a lot of attention.”

Burlison: “To me, there’s enough bandwidth to focus on both.”

Laslo: “Yeah?”

Burlison: “And I think, the missing scientists, I think there’s clearly an overlap, there’s a connection. But in and of itself it’s worth the investigation even if it has nothing to do with UAP.”

Laslo: “Now are we gonna see — like, are you convinced that some of the stuff you’ve seen in classified settings is classified for no reason? That it should be out there for the public?”

Burlison: “That’s absolutely part of our effort.”

Laslo: “Do you think that will change the national debate?”

Burlison: “I think the fact that Trump is saying he wants these released is the real impetus and helpful in getting these things disclosed.”

Laslo: “Now, some people are a little dubious about that. Like when he relaxed cannabis, it was an executive order...”*

Burlison: “Oh, I’m totally dubious. I don’t trust this town at all.”

Laslo: “Yeah?”

Burlison: “But it still doesn’t mean you don’t try.”

Laslo: “Yeah.”

Burlison: “Alright. Thanks.”

Burlison turns and heads into the US Capitol.

Laslo: “I’ll be watching. Preciate ya.”

Laslo heads back to Capitol steps to find more members of Congress to hound.
