The dust may still be settling on the full extent of the changes to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s UAP (or UFO) amendment in this year’s NDAA (or National Defense Authorization Act), but many House members have seen enough.
“It's bullshit,” Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) tells Ask a Pol.
Burlison plans to oppose the measure, in part, because the NDAA was overhauled in secret by party leaders on both sides of the Capitol (known as “the four Corners,” ie the Speaker and House minority leader, and the Senate majority and minority leaders).
“You're going to have the four corners, this four corners group decide what these bills are? That is not how this works. That's not how this building is supposed to work, and then they want us to vote for this, this monstrosity? They're not gonna get it,” Burlison tells us.
