Ask a Pol asks:

Do you think changing the leadership will make the House Intel Committee look more into the UAP issue?

Key Timmons:

“It's becoming increasingly front and center, so I think Intel‘s gonna have to get involved. I think most of the members on the Committee have been generally unimpressed with the responses that we've gotten,” Rep. William Timmons exclusively tells Ask a Pol. “I think the Intelligence Committee will start looking into it more, because how do you not? I mean, you know, the increased frequency and degree of sightings has created a lot of buzz.”

Below find a rough transcript of Ask a Pol’s exclusive interview with Rep. William Timmons (R-SC), slightly edited for clarity.

TRANSCRIPT: Rep. William Timmons

SCENE: Ahead of Thursday’s lone vote series, Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo was prowling the underground tunnel between the US Capitol and House Office Buildings when he ran into Rep. Timmons (a SC Air National Guardsman who always walks up tight back stairwells on his way to vote on the House floor).

Laslo hit 10k steps by 11am Thursday morning from walking back and forth in the tunnel between the Capitol and House Office Buildings across the street while interviewing 30+ members of Congress. More to come…

Matt Laslo: “How you doing?”

William Timmons: “Great, how are you doing?”

ML: “Did you hear this news about [fmr. House Intel Chair Mike] Turner?”

WT: “Yeah.”

ML: “That came out of nowhere. That surprised me. That surprise you?”

ML: “Yeah, right?”

WT: "I…(inaudible).”

ML: “Do you have any idea who's gonna — do you have any idea who's gonna replace him?”

WT: “I think they already announced [Rep. Rick] Crawford*.”
