Who?
Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) — Congressional UAP Caucus; Judiciary Committee
LISTEN: Laslo & Moskowitz
Ask a Pol asks:
What does you moving off of the Oversight Committee — which has been leading the UAP investigation in the US House of Representatives — and onto the Judiciary Committee in this new, 119th Congress mean for your role in the ongoing UFO investigation?
Key Moskowitz:
“It means that when they do that, I can wave on to the committee,” Rep. Jared Moskowitz exclusively tells Ask a Pol. “I can ask to be waved onto the committee.”
ICYMI — House Oversight Committee’s been active
Caught our ear:
“Let's see if he does it, right?” Moskowitz tells us of Trump’s promise to release. “Like, he's talked about it. He says that the American people have a right to know. I would support him releasing more information.”
ICYMI — “We’re getting contradictory messages…”
Below find a rough transcript of Ask a Pol’s exclusive interview with Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL), slightly edited for clarity.
TRANSCRIPT: Rep. Jared Moskowitz
SCENE: Ahead of the last vote of the week in the House on Thursday, Rep. Moskowitz is making his way to the House floor to vote via the underground tunnels on the Capitol complex when Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo catches up with him on his new committee assignment in the 119th Congress.
Matt Laslo: “Hey.”
Jared Moskowitz: “Yeah?”
ML: “Did I see — are you off Oversight?”
JM: “Yeah, I'm on Judiciary.”
ML: “What does that mean for the work you've done on UAPs and that stuff?”
JM: “I mean, I think, it means that when they do that, I can wave on to the committee, like, I can ask to be waved onto the committee.”

ML: “Oh, interesting.”
JM: “Yeah.”
ML: “And because you already have established yourself?”
JM: “Yeah. I mean, it's up to the chairman to allow people to wave on, but usually it happens.”
ML: “Yeah? What’d you make of what Trump said about disclosure, in terms of, like, drones and stuff?”
JM: “Like, well, I mean, look, let's see if he does it, right?”
ML: “Yeah?”

JM: “Like, he's talked about it. He says that the American people have a right to know. I would support him releasing more information.”
ML: “And that's one, just like, I'll see it when I believe it?”
JM: “You got it.”
ML: “That's what I thought, sir. Preciate ya.”
JM: “Thank you, thank you.”
ML: “Have a good one.”
Moskowitz continues on to vote on the House floor, as Laslo heads back to stake out more lawmakers, because the House of Representatives is scheduled to be out of session this coming week, in part so Republicans can have their annual retreat at the Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami.
